5 Tips for Beautiful Hair

Date:

Everyone wants to look and feel their best. Having beautiful hair does boost self-confidence, but lifestyle and weather changes can wreak havoc, leaving hair dry and dull. The following tips can ease your worries and rejuvenate your lock. Step into this world and feel fresh, vibrant and gorgeous!

1. Give Your Look a New Look

Trim your hair ends for an immediate boost of vitality. If you’re feeling bolder, try a new cut. If you have long hair, you can opt for a long wave head or boldly cut it in a cute, asymmetrical style. If you’re not ready to give up on long hair, consider cutting out some layers to add volume and shape to your look.

There’s nothing more exhilarating than trying a fun new color. Red is bold and vibrant. The blonde and honey look great. Alternatively, you can opt for a rich caramel. If you don’t want to go to the salon, you can easily do it yourself. If you want a more subtle change, try adding highlights. This will make your styling brighter and your hair more dimensional. Tip: If you have black hair and want to turn blonde, go to the salon. Blonde hair is a tricky color, and if you are not careful, you may turn into orange hair.

2. Do Not Wash Your Hair Every Day

Washing your hair daily deprives your hair of much-needed natural oils and dries your hair. If you dye your hair, washing it every day will fade quickly. The secret to maintaining beautiful hair between washes is dry cleaning.

There are a variety of products for every hair type. My favorite is Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe textured dry shampoo. It has a coconut scent that instantly lifts my mood. I like to coil my hair into a top knot before going to bed and spray it at the roots. It will soak overnight, so I will wake up with fresh, plump and full-bodied hair.

3. Moisturize and Use a Mask

I have a lot of hair. It is long, thick and dries easily. One trick I learned was to use a deep conditioner every time I washed my hair. Changing my daily conditioner made all the difference! Not only does it help keep my hair soft and silky, but it also protects my color. My favorite deep conditioner is L’Oréal Elvive Color Vibrancy Repair and Protect Balm. It is specially designed to color hair and helps repair all chemical damage caused by dyes.

To help strengthen dry, damaged hair, try a protein or keratin care mask. You can find a variety of good medicines at affordable prices at your local pharmacy.

I also like to use argan oil. It penetrates into your hair, softening it and repairing damage. A little bit can go a long way. After taking a bath, I apply a nickel-sized amount to my hair. It helps to straighten my hair strands and keep my hair silky smooth and vibrant. I really like the OGX brand.

4. Relieves Dry Scalp

There’s nothing worse than an itchy scalp and small white patches on dark clothes. To treat this quickly and effectively, I like to massage extra virgin olive oil on my scalp. I just poured it over my hair and kneaded it, making sure all the itchy areas were going. It instantly soothes and moisturizes the scalp.
