What Is the Perfect Skincare Routine?

Date:

We all aspire to have clear, flawless, radiant skin that looks flawless even without makeup. A good daily skincare routine can help you keep your skin healthy, beautiful, and radiant. But after reading about more than a dozen skincare routines on the internet, how can you decide which one is most effective? Today, I will share with you a simple but very effective morning and evening skincare routine.

The Perfect Morning Skincare Routine

Step 1: Clean the Skin

Therefore, the first step you have to do is to clean your skin. Never use soap on your face as they are very dry. There are two types of cleaners you should generally look for.

“If your skin tends to be oily, you may be able to tolerate more cleansing.” Dr. Sandra Lee (aka Dr. Pimple Popper), founder of SLMD Skincare, said.

“While most people should wash their faces morning and night, it is crucial for people with oily skin to thoroughly cleanse their faces in the morning,” Lee said.

Oily skin: If you have oily skin, you should look for a foaming cleanser to control excess oil on your skin.

Sensitive/dry skin: If you have sensitive or dry skin, you should look for some moisturizing or moisturizing type cleanser or a gentle milky cleanser.

Step 2: Condition Skin

After cleansing the skin, ideally, the next step is to ton. Unfortunately, people have been using astringents, usually alcohol-based toners. Due to their high alcohol content, they will make your skin look cold and clean. But the problem is that alcohol removes oil from the skin and useful bacteria known as the microbiome.
