If you want to determine the perfect way to organize your palette, you need to keep in mind that these cosmetic finishing tips will be different from those for finishing your eyeshadow pieces. This is because the color palette is large, so it is not convenient to fit in many cosmetics storage boxes. If you have multiple eyeshadow palettes, you need makeup tissue techniques that can handle so many palettes.
1. Throw Away the Makeup Drawer
The makeup drawer is a classic. They have a certain elegance, which makes them instantly attractive. The drawer can also be locked, which will be more attractive if you have small children.
The drawers were also stuffed with stuff. You’ll end up with piles of color palettes and still find yourself having to look for what you’re looking for every morning. Instead, you can put a color palette on it and leave the makeup drawer for something you don’t want to get dusty, such as a brush.
2. Consider Your Available Space
Everyone’s makeup tissue will look different. People who organize their dresser space may not have as much work space. On the other hand, if you have a larger dresser, organizing your dresser space may mean you have enough space to work on. If you have the top of the dresser, then you have plenty of space to organize your makeup. Before thinking about how to organize your eyeshadow palettes, take a closer look at their location in your room.
3. If You Don’t Have Space, Consider Other Options
One of the biggest problems I’ve ever had is not having a workspace. I installed an eight-foot-tall glass shelf on one wall of the room to create my own dresser. Until then, I found that I had been looking for other storage options.
Organize Your Dresser Space to Store Your Makeup
Organizing your dressing table space is the easiest way to organize your dressing plate. There are a lot of cheap palette organizers on the market. Personally, I use this acrylic resin. It has enough slots for color palettes, and I have plenty of room on my dresser for some of them.
Vertical Palette Storage
If you don’t have enough space on your dresser, consider choosing an organizer that can store them vertically. This takes up less space, and you can store color palettes so you can see them all. Once you see all your makeup, you’ll find it easier to find.
Use the Dishwasher to Organize the Makeup Tray
The wire cutlery drain rack does exactly the same thing as the acrylic palette organizer above, but at a fraction of its cost. Most dollar stores sell for a few dollars. You simply place the palette between the wires, just like putting a plate in the dishwasher.
Pick a Desk Organizer
The desk organizer is designed to store letters and pens. The space designed for letters is the perfect size for the makeup palette! The area for office supplies such as pens is often the ideal size for a makeup brush.
Small wire baskets are the perfect storage choice for color palettes! They’re small enough that you can put all the color palettes aside to make sure you can see them all.
Pick up the Wired CD Organizer
CD organizer comes in two styles. There are plastic organizers and wire organizers. The problem with plastic CD organizers is that they usually have a very small slot into which the CD fits perfectly. Your color palette won’t all fit into the slot.
Wire organizers, on the other hand, have no sides. Instead, they have a slot in which you simply slide the CD in, but it fits well if you want to slide something of different lengths, such as a makeup palette, into the same slot. The size of these little slots is perfect!
Use the Dresser
A makeup drawer can definitely get cluttered, but using a dresser to store only your palette and organize it properly can lead to wonderful results.
Then you need to decide how many drawers you need. There are some smaller dressers with three drawers. You can also choose a standing dresser with ten small drawers. Keep in mind how much floor space you have, how to store your palette in your dresser, and this idea has the potential to give you the perfect cosmetic finishing you’re looking for!
How to Store the Makeup Tray on the Wall
Personally, I don’t like to hang makeup trays on the wall. However, I considered this idea when I didn’t have enough space on my dresser and didn’t have enough floor space to accommodate the above idea. There are some great ideas to make your room look stylish and help you store your color palette.
Glass Bathroom Shelf
I use this idea to store my lotions and body sprays and a few other things. These glass shelves are sturdy and have a guide rail in front so you can erect all your palettes without falling. They are also easy to install. (I initially considered the idea for a palette I don’t use often, but decided to keep them on the dresser.) For this photo, I removed all the lotion from a shelf and put some color palette on top to give you an idea of what it would look like.
Use Bookshelves Against the Wall
Anything designed to accommodate small books can be used perfectly as a color palette. You can choose angled shelves so that all color palettes fit perfectly on the shelf. More modern shelves have a lip rim in front to make sure nothing falls. You can’t go wrong with this idea.
Let Your Color Palette Stick to the Wall
I’ve never tried this idea, but it’s a very cool, ingenious idea that I’ve done pretty much in my old house. How you do this depends on how cunning you want to become.
For a simple, barely DIY idea, you can shop for magnetic makeup boards on Amazon. Then you can simply glue the magnetic material to the back of the palette or anything else you want to stick to the board.
Organization will set you free
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, it’s pointless to make no amount of your cosmetics line impressive. That’s why makeup tissue is so important. You should be able to easily find your preferred foundation, concealer slightly darker than other shades (for last-minute comedones), or anything else you need in the morning. These makeup organization ideas will ensure that you are able to do just that.
